A repeat of last fall’s $500 dollar cost-of-living cheque, issued to all but the very highest income Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, is not budgeted in this year’s provincial fiscal plan, but Finance Minister Siobhan Coady is not ruling out the possibility.

She says last year’s $200 million dollar expenditure was as the result of additional revenue. She says they’re continuing to monitor the situation.
