A man is facing a number of firearms related charges after an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Arnold’s Cove.
An armed, masked man held up the PharmaChoice store around 9:00 Tuesday morning. The suspect alledgedly stole a quantity of prescription drugs before fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle.
62-year-old Michael Talbot was located by Clarenville RCMP shortly after the incident. He’s facing charges of robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent, taking a motor vehicle, obstructing a peace officer, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and additional firearms charges.
Talbot remains in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
