Police in Harbour Grace are investigating after a pedestrian was injured during a hit and run accident on Wednesday.
RCMP first received the call at 8:30 p.m.
They say a pedestrian was crossing the road on Columbus Drive when they were hit by a vehicle leaving the Tim Hortons parking lot.
Police say the driver of the vehicle did not stop and the car, described as a black Honda Civic, was last seen turning left onto Powell Drive.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
