Today is Yom HaShoah, a day of remembrance for the Holocaust.
Rabbi Chanan Chernitski of the Jewish Chabad of St. John’s, says it’s an important time to think on themes like hatred, intolerance, racism and anti-Semitism and the impact it has on people’s lives.

He says there is a lot of misinformation out there thanks to social media, and the way to remember is to be a good Jew, to observe Judaism with joy and zest, and for everyone to fight against hate in any form, because it can take a very ugly turn at any moment.
