People in the city of St. John’s will have to wait a little bit longer to see the first cruise ship of the season.
The Norwegian Dawn, with about 3,000 passengers, was supposed to arrive on Monday, however that visit has now been cancelled due to ice conditions.

Thirty-five more cruise ships are expected to visit St. John’s harbor this year however, with Councillor Debbie Hanlon saying they’re looking forward to a busy season.

The next cruise ship set to dock in St. John’s is the Silver Shadow, which is expected to arrive on June 6.
