Changes involving access to the Janeway Children’s Hospital that take effect today will last until the fall.
The child rehabilitation entrance will be closed as work is carried out to replace the CT imaging machine. Visitors and staff are advised to use the main entrances at the Janeway or the Health Sciences Centre.
Signage will be in place to help people navigate the area.
Meanwhile, a mobile CT scan machine will be installed next to the Janeway underground parking lot to limit the impact on such services.
An enclosure to protect patients and staff from the elements when using the mobile machine is also being built for the duration of the project.
