RCMP have taken a number of impaired drivers off roadways across the province in recent days.
Four drivers were arrested on charges of impaired from Sunday, April 30 to Wednesday, May 3.
Police on the Burin Peninsula were tipped off about a possible impaired ATV driver in Marystown around 9:30 Tuesday morning. Officers tracked down the driver at a local business who was arrested and taken to the detachment where he blew three times the legal limit.
On Wednesday afternoon, RCMP in Harbour Grace pulled over a vehicle on Cathedral Street after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver. The 50-year-old man failed the roadside breath test, blowing almost twice the legal limit.
Both men have been released to appear in court and have had their licenses suspended and vehicles seized.
Police are thanking the public for their tips and encourage anyone who suspects an impaired driver to call them immediately.
