The Newfoundland Growlers are on the verge of advancing to the next round of the Kelly Cup playoffs.
They defeated the Reading Royals 6-3 last night in Pennsylvania to go up 3-0 in their series. Six different Growlers scored including Tyler Boland, who had just been sent down from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.
Next game in the series is at the Mary Brown’s Centre Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
