Growlers Advance to Playoff Semi-Finals

The Newfoundland Growlers are one step closer to the Kelly Cup.

The team put out the Reading Royals with a 5-2 win in Saturday’s game 5 to move on to the ECHL’s semi-final playoff round.

Dryden McKay stopped 20 shots, while Pavel Gogolev led the team offensively with a pair of goals and assists.
