Police have made an arrest in connection with a robbery at a St. John’s bank on Friday.
The incident occurred at the CIBC next to the Avalon Mall on Kenmount Road shortly after 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
The male suspect ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
The RNC’s patrol and criminal investigation divisions say they picked up a 30-year-old man earlier today without incident.
He faces charges of robbery with violence and failure to comply with a previous release order.
He remains in custody and is due in provincial court on Sunday morning.
