Spring may have come late in many parts of Newfoundland and Labrador, but that could mean allergy season will be even worse for those who are affected.
Jillian Croke, Pharmacy Manager with Shoppers Drug Mart in CBS, says experts are pointing to historical data that indicates a more intense allergy season may be coming.
She says grass and trees have been hanging on to their pollen through the colder temperatures, and now that the weather has turned for the better it’s predicted that they will release it all at once is a “pollen boom.”
