The federal Veterans Ombud, Retired Colonel Nishika Jardine, will visit the province in early June to meet and hear from veterans.

Town halls are scheduled for St. John’s on Tuesday, June 6th and in Gander on Thursday, June 8.

The Office of the Veterans Ombud reviews complaints, and challenges the policies and decisions of Veterans’ Affairs Canada.

Service Canadian Armed Forces members, members of the RCMP, veterans and family members of representatives are invited to attend.

The St. John’s session is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, June 6 from 7:00- 9:00 p.m.)at the St. John’s Convention Centre, while the Gander session will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 8 at the Albatross Hotel.
