SEA-NL, which advocates on behalf of inshore enterprise owners, says tensions are continuing to rise.
Executive Director Ryan Cleary warns there will be trouble if Quin-Sea/Royal Greenland doesn’t start buying snow crab from the under 40′ feet.
In a release issued late yesterday, Cleary suggests there could be violence as tensions “boil-over.”
He calls the situation, coupled with the enforcement of schedules and trip limits on the small boat fleet, “a recipe for disaster.”
