Police in Stephenville are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in a break-in and theft.

It happened Thursday morning at a home on New Mexico Drive while the owner was away.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect covering their face as they approach the house.

The person is described as being more than six feet tall and wearing a blue Under Armour jacket and black pants.

The suspect was in the house for 45 minutes before leaving on foot with a number of stolen items.

Police are asking people in the area of New Mexico Drive to check any surveillance video between 7:15 and 7:45 a.m. Thursday morning, and again from 8:20 to 8:45, to see if it picked up a person matching the suspect’s description or any other suspicious activity.
