A man who was seen driving erratically in Mount Pearl hit the gas instead of the brake when officers tried to pull him over in Mount Pearl late last night.
The RNC caught up with him in Mount Pearl a short time later at about midnight. The 24-year-old has been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle under the Criminal Code of Canada, and driving while suspended. The car has been impounded and the driver released to appear later.
