Two men have been arrested in connection with a break-in at a Marystown daycare last month.
Burin Peninsula RCMP were alerted to the break-in at Explore and Discover Daycare on the morning of May 19.
A variety of electronic equipment that was reported stolen was eventually recovered by police and suspects were identified.
RCMP arrested 31-year-old Leon Smith without incident on Monday and charged him with break and enter, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation. He was released to appear in court July 19.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Patrick Moulton was arrested on Wednesday on an outstanding warrant. He’s been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
The investigation continues.
