The Registered Nurses Union and the provincial government have reached a tentative agreement.
After a lengthy negotiation, a tentative deal was reached last night.
No details can be released, but RNU President Yvette Coffey says the deal will allow this province to compete with the rest of Atlantic Canada when it comes to wages.
The deal will now be put forward to the over 5,800 RNU members for ratification.
