A man wanted by police after escaping custody in central Newfoundland has been arrested.
On Saturday, RCMP issued a release indicating that 23-year-old Joshua Osbourne escaped from police custody in the area of Cromer Avenue near the provincial court.
Osbourne, who had been arrested on an outstanding warrant was not believed to be a risk to the public.
Police say Osbourne was arrested this morning by Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP and has been charged with escaping lawful custody and resisting arrest.
