Marine Atlantic Names New Vessel in Spirit of Truth and Reconciliation

Marine Atlantic’s new vessel has a name reflecting a focus on Truth and Reconciliation.

The Ala’suinu will carry up to 1000 passengers, with 146 passenger cabins, a children’s play area and a kennel for pets as well as pet-friendly cabins.

Ala’suinu means “traveler” in Mi’kmaq.
