A Royal Canadian Airforce plane made an emergency landing at St. John’s International Airport Thursday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the airport said the Lockheed CP-140 Aurora aircraft was diverted due to a cracked windshield.
The airport’s fire crews along with city firefighters and Eastern Health paramedics responded as a precaution.
The plane, used primarily for maritime coastal patrols, touched down safely at 1:45 in the afternoon.
