A Marystown company has been charged for allegedly violating a stop work order at a hardware store in Gander nearly two years ago.
According to the provincial government, Aylwards (1986) Limited has been charged with three violations of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations in relation to the incident in October of 2021.
The charges are for failing to comply with a stop work order regarding a required inspection of a forklift, failing to provide the proper training, supervision, and facilities, and for failing to meet the standards for operator qualifications.
The company’s first court appearance is scheduled for August 22 in Gander.
