The City of St. John’s is gearing up for its annual Party in the Park.
The free event for seniors will take place at Bowring Park Bungalow on July 19, from 1 to 4 p.m..
Entertainment will be provided by Clay Coombs and Harris Porter of I’se Da B’y, Brett Crane, Elaine Dunphy of Nia on the Rock, and Paddy Burke.
A bus service is available for seniors, with advance registration required. The registration fee is $6, and can be done online at RecConnect, in person at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre, or over the phone by calling 709-576-8499 or 709-576-8631.
People can park in limited accessible spaces at the bungalow.
Registration is not required to attend the event. The rain date is July 20.
