The City of St. John’s is going to make a pilot project associated with information sharing and public feedback a permanent feature.
The planning page at EngageStJohns.ca was designed to provide an online space for information and solicit feedback on planning applications. Since the launch, 14 applications have been posted. Cumulatively, there were 4,700 unique visitors to one of the various application pages.
The city has determined that 85 per cent of respondents support continuing the page.
The formal vote takes place at the next July 24 council meeting.
