A woman is in custody after several incidents in St. John’s.
The day began unfolding at about 11:30 in the morning with a call from a residence where a person was causing damage.
Then, over the lunch hour, the RNC rushed to an establishment downtown St. John’s where another crime was being committed.
Police connected the two incidents and tracked down the suspect mid-afternoon in the west end but she did not go quietly.
The 42-year-old has been charged with property damage, fraud, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, uttering threats and breach of court orders.
There were no injuries and the woman was held for court today.
