Premier Andrew Furey is in Halifax today meeting with his counterparts from across the country.
Health care, the cost of living, carbon pricing and clean fuel regulations as laid out by Ottawa are all on the table.
On health care, discussions will focus on a shortage of workers in the sector and cross-province recruitment and bidding wars for those workers.
Newfoundland and Labrador recently had it out with Saskatchewan on cross-province recruitment.
Some provinces are also calling on the federal government to end the carbon tax scheme for the entire country.
