A local salesman and co-founder of the ad agency The IDEA Factory is out with a book, penned during the pandemic, that has been listed as a best-seller on Amazon.
Kevin Casey says like a lot of people, the pandemic caused him to reflect on his life and work, and he didn’t like what he saw.
He says he crafted a completely different approach to the traditional methods used by those involved in sales, based on an episode of Seinfeld.
He started to codify some of his ideas, that he calls “Constanzas” based on an episode of the classic comedy when Seinfeld tells George that nothing he’s done in life has met with success, so try the opposite.
(un)selling: 14 (un)conventional principles to reduce sales anxiety and increase sales is available online through Amazon. Casey says he’s now looking at ways to get hard copies onto store shelves, primarily, he jokes, to appease his mother.
