A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at a bank in Gander.
RCMP responded to the call at TD Canada Trust on Elizabeth Drive just after 4:00 Saturday afternoon.
The bank was closed at the time.
RCMP say the front door was damaged and Jared Sidney Slaney was found inside and arrested.
A knife and break-in tools were seized by police.
Slaney is facing a number of charges including break and enter with intent, and failure to comply with a release order.
He was held to appear in Gander provincial court.
