Canadian Blood Services is turning to students at the College of the North Atlantic to help them boost stem cell donations.
A clinic will be set up at CNA’s Prince Philip Drive campus on Thursday for students aged 17 to 35 to collect stem cells for the nearly 1,000 Canadians awaiting a transplant.
Donating, as simple as swabbing the inside of one’s cheek, can be a lifesaving treatment for over 80 diseases.
The clinic will be set up in the main atrium at CNA from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
