The President of the Association of Allied Health Professionals says there was a “collective sigh of relief” upon reaching a new tentative deal with the provincial government.
The proposed deal was first announced yesterday. Details will not be made available until the deal is ratified sometime near the end of the month.
Gord Piercey believes their members are hopeful that this is the settlement they’re looking for.
He says this has been a distraction for everyone involved, and their members are hopeful they can get back to where they want to be.
