A man owing thousands in outstanding fines will see that amount increase following a traffic stop in the capital city.

RNC hauled the car over on Waterford Bridge Road around 10 p.m. Saturday night.

Officers discovered that the 31-year-old had racked up more than $20,000 in fines and was driving under a license suspension.

His vehicle was impounded and he was issued additional tickets for driving while suspended and having defective equipment.
