Lotto players who use their phone to check their tickets may be owed some additional winnings.
Atlantic Lottery says an issue with their mobile ticket scanner incorrectly scanned a small percentage of winning tickets as non-winners.
The glitch only impacted the scanning function on mobile devices between October 16, 2023 and January 25.
ALC says over $27,000 has been left on the table because of the error, but no tickets worth over $1,027 were affected.
The issue has now been resolved and anyone who played the lotto during that time and still has their tickets is asked to rescan their barcodes.
