COVID-19 and influenza have claimed three more lives in this province.
According to the latest data from the period from January 28 to February 3, one death was attributed to COVID and two others were due to influenza.
Confirmed cases of COVID-19 were up slightly with 63 new infections reported. Nine of those patients were hospitalized with one person admitted to intensive care.
New confirmed cases of the flu jumped to 140 from 105 the previous week. During that time, there were 32 hospitalizations with four people in critical care.
