The cleanup from back-to-back snowstorms continues in the capital city.
Crews have been working around the clock to clear roads after around 70 centimetres fell on St. John’s over the past week.
Deputy City Manager of Public Works, Lynnann Winsor, says streets are 99 per cent plowed, minus a few streets prone to drifting.
She says as they clean up from the storm, they move into widening, removal and blowback operations, including the removal of large snowbanks from sightlines at intersections.
