A discount airline which recently expanded to St. John’s is putting a halt to operations and has filed for creditor protection.
Lynx Air offered several flights a week between St. John’s and Toronto, but all planes will be grounded as of Monday.
The air carrier says customers with bookings should seek refunds from their credit card companies.
The airline did not say how many customers would be left in the lurch but did say anyone whose flight is being cancelled will be notified via email.
