The driver of a car who stepped on the gas when the RNC flashed their lights on him will make a court appearance today.
The incident began on Concorde Drive in Corner Brook around 7:00 Monday morning when police received the report of a stolen vehicle.
Police were familiar with the man, and later caught up with him and the vehicle.
The 35-year-old is being charged with breaching a probation order, possession of stolen property, dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police.
