The Orangestore will be the official sponsor of the Torch Relay for the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

The announcement was made this morning at the MUN Signal Hill Campus in downtown St. John’s.

Co-Chair of the 2025 Canada Games Host Society, Karl Smith says he is “pumped.” He says this partnership is an important step along the way to the “best games ever.”

Smith says beginning in June 2025 with a lighting ceremony on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, the Orangestore 2025 Canada Games Torch Relay will make its way to Newfoundland and Labrador.

President of North Sun Energy, David Button says he is proud to partner with the games. He says he represented his province at the Canada Games in 1991 for hockey, it gave him great memories, and helped him learn the value of teamwork.

Button hopes the 2025 Canada Games continues to inspire generations of athletes, coaches, volunteers and fans for many years to come.
