Some warm and windy weather today has thrown a wrench into repair work at Marble Mountain, but management hopes to have people back on the slopes tomorrow.
Heavy rain last weekend caused washouts at the base of the hill, forcing the slopes to close as crews conducted emergency repairs.
General Manager Richard Wells says crews have made some great progress over the last few days, but does anticipate things to be significantly slowed by the weather today.
That said, he does expect the hill to be open “in some capacity” tomorrow.
They’re going to let today’s wet and windy weather play out first so they can see what impact that will have. Wells says if everything goes to plan people will be back on the slopes tomorrow.
