Two people were arrested following a recent traffic stop near Corner Brook that resulted in the seizure of cocaine and cash among other items.

The RCMP pulled a vehicle over last Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation, and two people, 38-year-old Michael Barter and 25-year-old Brianna Pye, both from Corner Brook, were arrested.

Four ounces of cocaine were seized along with a quantity of cash.

The pair are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and were released to appear in court at a later date.

The investigation continues.
