The Brad Gushue rink is off to a solid start at this year’s Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan.
The Gushue foursome knocked off regional rivals Nova Scotia last night 7-4 in the first draw.
The Gushue rink is at the event again this year as Team Canada after winning it all in 2023 and 2022.
That means this province again gets an extra team entered in the form of the Andrew Symonds rink, also from St. John’s.
Their first game is this afternoon at 3:30 Newfoundland time against Alberta’s Brendan Bottcher.
Gushue’s next match goes later tonight at 8:30 versus Mike McEwen’s host Saskatchewan rink.
