More than 850 NL Housing units will undergo renovations thanks to a federal funding boost.
Ottawa is putting up $8.7 million over the course of three years to help modernize and upgrade NLHC units. Work to be done will include repairs that improve accessibility and energy efficiency.
The province allocated an additional $3 million to repair an extra 143 units this past fall. To date, work has been completed on 123 of those homes, with renos underway at 19 other units.
