A man is facing impaired driving charges following a collision in Mount Pearl on Sunday.

Police responded to the scene just before the lunch hour.

Following an investigation, a 67-year-old driver of one of the vehicles involved was arrested and charged with impaired driving, refusal of a drug demand and breach of a release order.

The man was released to appear at a later date, and his vehicle was impounded.

There were no injuries.
