The RNC is investigating a suspicious death in Outer Cove.
Constable James Cadigan says officers were called to a residential property on Liam Drive, just off Outer Cove Road just before 10:00 this morning.
The exact cause of death is under investigation by the Chief Medical Examiner’s office.
Cadigan says police are releasing few details on the victim.

He confirmed that the deceased is a female, but he would not release any further information at this time.
Cadigan says there is no danger to the public, and he’s asking residents and others to give the police space as they conduct their investigation.
“We’re looking to manage the scene, and allow residents to understand that we have an active investigation ongoing and we would appreciate if the area could be avoided at this time.”
