The playoff push is on for the Brad Gushue foursome at the Montana’s Brier in Regina, Sask.
Gushue’s Team Canada rink defeated Nunavut 8-3 in their only draw on Tuesday, improving their record to 4-2.
That keeps them in fourth place in their pool, with the top three teams from each pool making it through to the playoffs.
Surprising Prince Edward Island currently holds the third and final playoff spot ahead of Gushue.
As luck would have it, they go head-to-head at 11:30 a.m. this morning Newfoundland time.
Meanwhile, Andrew Symonds Newfoundland and Labrador rink earned its first Brier win yesterday.
They held off the Yukon by a score of 6-5, and return to the ice against Manitoba at 4:30 this afternoon.
