Hunters are now able to apply for the 2024-25 big game licence draw.
Applications for moose, caribou, black bear and trapper licences are now available online only.
Over 27,000 moose licences are being made available on the island, while 345 are available in Labrador.
Caribou hunting remains prohibited in the Big Land, but 583 such licences are being issued on the island.
In order to be eligible for the licence draw, applicants must be at least 16 years old as of August 31, a resident of the province, have a valid Hunter Certificate Number, and have completed all firearms safety training.
The deadline to apply is May 3.
