A portion of Pennywell Road at Cashin Avenue was closed to traffic for a period of time this afternoon as RNC responded to report of a possible weapons offence in the area.
Approximately seven police cars with their lights blocked off a portion of the road.
The Constabulary confirmed that officers contained a property and made contact with the person inside and are in the process of determining whether the call received by police was valid.
