Parks Canada has closed all areas of Gros Morne National Park to snowmobiling due to a lack of snow.
As a result, the activity is prohibited in all areas of the park from now until at least March 27 due to dangerous conditions and the possibility of damage to ecosystems.
The closure could be reassessed if conditions improve.
Parks Canada also reminds users that anyone travelling in Gros Morne is responsible for their own safety.
