Robert Chafe’s award-winning play centered on the work of the late Jon Lien is coming to the LSPU Hall following a successful tour of mainland Canada and the Maritimes.
Artistic Fraud’s Between Breaths will feature the original cast including Steve O’Connell, Bernadine Stapleton, and Darryl Hoskins as well as returning musicians.
Director Jillian Keiley says this show strikes the hearts of Newfoundlanders and Labrador in a special way.

Keiley says Jon Lien came to the province from North Dakota to study birds, but ended up getting “literally tangled up with whales.”
She says he used to rescue whales who became entangled in fishing nets. She says part of why he is so special was because he would care for the nets, just as much as he cared for the whales.
Between Breaths will run at the LSPU Hall from March 20 to March 24.
