The 72nd Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Drama Festival will return to Gander during Easter week.

It’s the only amateur adult drama festival in the country.

Seven troupes from across the province will come together for seven nights of theatre. Local troupe Avion Players will host Labrador West’s Northern Lights, Madrock of Bay Roberts, Corner Brook’s Off-Broadway Players, Northcliff Drama Club from Grand Falls-Windsor, School Zone Productions of St. John’s as well as the St. John’s Players

Award-winning theatre creator Kate Smith is this year’s adjudicator.

The festival runs from March 31 to April 6.
