Police rushed to the Goulds last night around 8 p.m. after gunshots were heard in a residential area.

Officers found evidence that a gun had been fired at a home and located a 44-year-old man inside. He now faces numerous charges including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and reckless use of a firearm.

There were no injuries and the man was held for court.
