We’re a couple months out from the annual Janeway telethon, but the foundation behind the fundraiser is already gearing up for what is a milestone year.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the telethon, which raises money to improve equipment and care for sick kids receiving care at the Janeway.
President and CEO of the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation, Rebecca Dutton, says they’re bringing back a number of old hosts, videos, and stories to mark 40 years, and are looking for help from the public.
She says there are many out there who have Janeway stories to tell from over the years, and they want to do just that. Submissions of stories, photos and videos can be made online.
This year’s Janeway telethon airs June 1-2.
